A Melee is played over a few games. It consists of multiple players all in separate teams. Each player keeps a count of their points for the day, who ever emerges with most points is the winner.

The club arranges an away day at least once during the season, this is normally a Wednesday. For a few years now the choice of club to visit has been, Dunbar where we have always been made very welcome and had lovely weather.

After enjoying a lovely afternoon at
Dunbar Pétanque Club the members visit Dunbar Golf Club Restaurant for a fish tea or a meal before heading for home.
