Opening Day 6th April 2025

Sunday, April 6th at 1.30pm.

Members of the public are welcome to come along and give the game a try.

Enjoy playing with different partners in small inhouse competitions.

Gillian won the Cookie Cup by toting up the most points on the day.

 

Wednesday and Sunday,

1.30 pm

Take part in weekly games,  improve your skills, socialise and make new friends over a cup of tea or coffee after the game.

 

The Club has at least one away day during the Season

Enjoy a friendly meal out after visiting another Pétanque Club before returning home. "usually a Wednesday"

How can I become a member of Tweed Valley Petanque Club?

To become a member, simply Send us an Email by "contacting us below" or Pop along to the pistes within Peebles Hydro Gardens and say hello.

Are there any age restrictions for joining the club?

Anyone between the ages of 10 (Ten) and 100 (one hundred) can join.

Although we ask that anyone under the age of sixteen requires to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What equipment do I need to play petanque?

All you need to play petanque are a set of boules and suitable footwear. "No open toed sandals or shoes". Boules may be borrowed for the first season, Availability allowing.
